Hi, I’m Leah

— and I’m so glad you’re here.

Over time, I’ve come to believe that the little things in life bring the most joy — a cozy room filled with pieces you love, the fresh scent of herbs growing near a window, the smell of brownies in the oven or dough rising on the counter. These simple, beautiful moments ground me — and they’re what inspired me to create this space. A place to share what I love and hopefully spark a bit of beauty, creativity, and joy in your life, too.

I’ve loved using textures, colors, and patterns to create meaningful spaces for as long as I can remember. I still think back to the excitement of decorating my first locker — and I’ve carried that same spark with me into a creative career I’m truly passionate about.

My journey started in Ohio, where I studied Industrial and Innovative Design at Cedarville University. There, I partnered with the International Center for Creativity to bring ideas to life through form, function, and intentionality. Since then, I’ve spent my career helping people design homes that reflect who they are and what they love most.

At Pottery Barn, I worked as a Design Specialist, helping clients in-store and in-home with everything from mood boards to furniture layouts. I loved walking alongside people through the process and seeing their spaces come to life — especially those projects that turn out so well, you just have to stop and stare at them.

Today, I work as a Senior Designer at Fischer Homes, where I help homeowners make decisions that turn a house into a home — from the perfect brick color to just the right countertops. I also design market-ready homes, blending insight and creativity to craft spaces people are truly drawn to. My favorite designs are those that feel both beautiful and livable — always thoughtfully created with practicality and personality in mind.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me:

at the piano writing songs,

in the kitchen baking or cooking,

in the garden planting or watering,

or on my iPad, dreaming up new ideas for our home.

I’ve been growing my indoor plant collection for years, and when my husband and I bought our first house, I was so excited to try gardening outdoors. That first year, we had only one cherry tomato plant — but it yielded more fruit than I could’ve imagined. I froze tomatoes to use all winter long, and since then, our garden has grown a little bigger each season.

Along the way, we’ve also focused more on healthy, intentional eating. Fresh-milled flour, organic produce, and avoiding refined sugar have made a huge difference in our home. The warmth of growing and cooking with real food has done more for my mind and body than I ever expected. I feel clearer, more energized, and more at peace. It’s simple — but life-changing.

Music, too, has always been a deeply rooted part of my life. From the time I stood on a chair and sang a caterpillar song to my family, to leading worship at church, it’s been where I process, praise, and connect with God. I released my first Christmas single in 2021, and ever since, I’ve felt the Lord calling me to share more of the music He’s put on my heart. Through seasons of personal and spiritual growth, I’ve held onto songwriting as a sacred space — a way to express what’s hard to say and to offer encouragement to others walking their own path. I pray these songs remind you that you’re not alone and point your heart to lasting hope in Christ.

Each of these areas — design, baking, gardening, and music — hold a special place in my heart. And I’m beyond excited to share them here, all together in one place. This little corner of the internet is where it all comes together — a reflection of a life lived with intention, beauty, and grace.

Thank you so much for being here! I hope you feel right at home.
